Let's Play Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard #16: Exploring the Isle
70Okay, so a lot happened last time. We discovered that the wolves are after a sceptre that will somehow give them the power to become the rulers of the land. It's hidden deep within the shrine of the owls that they opened briefly by activating three mysterious towers scattered about the island. We've also discovered that Jarlena was always on our side and though we don't know why she's trying to stop her father, she did save us from a grisly fate by standing up to him.
I hope she's alright.
We were left tied up outside the shrine and though we're now free, we're on borrowed time. Not only do we need to open the shrine before the wolves find what they're looking for, but we also need to do so before the metal monsters swarm this place and destroy everything. The odds are certainly stacked against ut but this is the time that the greatest heroics occur. Surely we'll manage to save the world from the brink of destruction, right?
...Right?
