Let's Play Lil Gator Game #18: Not the End, but a new Beginning
61We have but a few small pockets of monsters left to defeat and only a couple of achievements before we've done absolutely everything the game has to offer. Once there are done that's really, truth it. The game will be finished, completed, done and dusted and all that'll be left is for us to draw a close to a brilliant day and a wonderfully whomesome adventure... but I don't want to. I don't want to see this end because it's just so brilliant and cute and lovely and-
No, Kiko. All things end eventually, even this. As much as you don't want to, it's time to finally see see the final curtain.
Do I really need to say how awesome this game is? The graphics, the music, the amtosphere, the silliness, the story, everything is just so perfect. It's an absolute joy to play and while a part of me wants there to be so much more of it, another part of me knows that the game is just long enough not to outstay its welcome. There's no real difficulty to the game and that makes perfect sense considering that it's a bunch of children playing make believe but imagine what this would have looked like to them. Imagination truly is a wonderful thing, something that should be cherished and nurtured.
Do I recommend people play this game? Yes yes YES I do. Play it now! You'll love it just as much as I did, probably more so. My only regret is I didn't play it on the day it came out but hey, a month later is better than never!
So, what's to come next? I think it's time to play another classic RPG, one I haven't played. It was released between two others that used the same engine but isn't part of the same story, instead being tied to the exploits of a very well known renegade hero of the setting who has spawned many a knock-off wannabe over the decades. I'll say nothing more save that this one is going to be a tale steeped in deep, DEEP lore.
