All Terri and the party need do to confront the Imprisoned One is step through the portal they’ve created by opening up the final seal. We’ve been told that need not fight the one contained on the final level however; all that’s required of us is to use the scroll the knights of vigil gave us at the beginning of this long quest to strengthen the seals and contain whatever is down there forever or at the very least, for many more millennia.

Before we do that however, there’s one more bit of unfinished business that needs to be taken care of. There’s an optional super-encounter of sorts in this game that I’ve avoided until now. This was because of me misremembering how powerful the foe in question was but now that I know better, I think it’s time we complete this optional side quest and once more show off just how powerful our party has become.
