The Avatar didn’t just finish his mapping project while out and about, for he uncovered many books and got a lot of leather. All of this allowed him to finally get the enchanting room up and running, the magical table harnessing the arcane power from the bookshelves I’ve slowly been putting together. Using our accumulated experience and lapis lazuli, we can infuse equipment with powerful enchantments that will improve them beyond their mundane capabilities.
There are many enchantments that I’d like to get hold of, but right now I’m going to focus on the essentials and only on equipment I intend to keep for the long term. These essentials are the unbreaking enchantment which makes equipment less likely to lose durability and mending so I can repair said equipment with experience. In time, we’ll assemble a suit of armour and weapons that are enchanted to be more effective, but that’s a goal for far, far in the future. You have to learn to walk before you can run, after all.
