You know, seeing a random giant cockaroach makes me think of all those other times I open a door and find something impossibly large trapped in a room. In DnD, I once had a DM put a Skeleton Giant in a room that had only human sized doors in and out of the room and later a Storm Giant (something that does need to eat and breathe). Now we have this giant roach instead of an awesome dragon (which probably had no way out either) trapped in a room that has only doors the size of your character. How does it get food? It must get bored running the boundaries of the room over and over again.
