Let's Play Bubsy Bobcat Gameplay Quick Play - Why Is This A Remake?
9Let's Play Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind Gameplay! Holy crap they're remaking Bubsy! There's a new remake of Bubsy called Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back announced. Why is this a thing? I don't know!
Anyway, this is Bubsy the Bobcat by Accolade. It's an... interesting old retro game for the Sega Genesis and Snes. Lin and Mack have childhood memories playing it. I don't.
Here's a quick Bubsy review: It's like Sonic The Hedgehog, except everything kills you in 1 hit, the controls are incredibly floaty, and you just can't go fast. It has fall damage too. Which it really shouldn't. Basically everything kills you.
I guess the alien enemies are called Woolies. They're silly They have stolen all the worlds yarn ball. I guess Bubsy the Bobcat had the world's largest collection.... so he's understandably upset.
There's also a sequel to this game called Bubsy 2, and a Playstation game called bubsy 3D: Furbitten Planet. Bubsy 3-d is awful.
I guess there's also a Bubsy Bobcat cartoon. A pilot anyway. it aired alongside the Battletoads pilot I don't think it ever got anywhere. Surprised? Me neither.
