Let's Play C&C Tiberian Sun Firestorm (NOD) #29: Sometimes, Subtlety is Overrated

Every once in a while, you're given a stealth mission or a gimmick level in a game whose intended solution either takes a lot of time or knowledge of the situation that you don't possess. The latter makes future playthroughs of that challenge a lot easier while the former usually only gets a little faster when you know what you're doing.
There is a third way of going about it, however, one that the AI often doesn't have the best way of countering: disregarding the intended solution completely and throwing everything you have at them in a full-frontal assault.
Like the level in Z where the two bases are seperated only by a broken bridge, lauching an all-or-nothing attack with your starting units while the enemy's forces are scattering to achieve more conventional objectives can be just enough to attain victory if you're lucky. Don't expect this tactic to work all the time and only use it against a human opponent if you have a fallback for it failing.
