We continue to mop up Tauron, as otherwise he'll just keep converting our homeland into a volcano-filled nightmare / Iceland.
There is a Chaos magic spell later on called Armageddon. It just converts things to volcanoes... everything. Rapidly. Basically, it ruins the planet and forces everyone to fight. Sure, it pisses everyone off when you cast it, but if you have a giant army it isn't a bad choice for Chaos wizards.
It is also my least favorite way of playing, and Tauron is forcing me to react as though that's his grand plan. So, I need to wipe out more of his cities.

Oh yeah, and we explore more of Myrror as well. As previously postulated (and mentioned in the comments earlier), there isn't another wizard on Myrror due to the difficulty level I'm set at. So, if you DO want to play a relatively peaceful game of Master of Magic... play Myrran and on normal difficulty.
