Let's Play Cat Quest #02: Clawing in Experience
105We may be the super amazing awesome destined hero of legend, but we're still low level and the world isn't going to pull its punches. It is for this reason that we need to get better really quickly and to do that we must get two things: money and experience. The money will be used to buy things like cool equipment and fancy balls of wool while the experience will make us better at hacking at things and casting magic. Ultimately both of these equate to bigger numbers when we do things and bigger numbers are always better unless they're aimed at you.
As for quests, we do have the over-arching 'save our sister' task but that's going to have to go on the backburner on account of us having no idea where she is, who took her or why. Instead, we're going to help the people in the surrounding area with their problems which, as luck would have it, are perfectly managable for a low level wannabe hero.
