Let's Play Cat Quest #03: Gaining Claw-some Upgrades
83The big bad guy knows we're about but far from wanting to smush us while we're weak and insignificant, he instead has challenged us to grow stronger and defeat all his dragons. If we manage to do this, he's said he'll return our sister to us, something I doubt he'll actually do but hey, I'm not going to complain about being allowed to live.
It's clear that we need to get a LOT stronger, however, which is where all the quests we're doing comes into play. Not only do they give us experience for levels which will give us higher stats, but it also means money we can spend with a certain blacksmith to get better stuff. Sometimes it's improvements to gear we already have and other times it's completely new stuff but each thing gets us closer to where we need to do, which is hopefully not face down in the litter tray after being wiped out by the big bad.
We've a long road ahead of us folks, but we'll see it to its end... or into the small cardboard box just off to the side.
