69The building that Finn and Gwen stand before is unlike anything they've ever seen before, a crumbling monlith of smooth stone and metal which is both alien and eerily familiar all at once. Where did it come from and who once called it home? Is it linked to the machines that appear not just to be invading their world but transforming it?
The players knows full well what they've come across and its presence should be provoking a myriad of questions, none of which will have happy answers. What's important for our heroes is that it stands between them and one of the towers they need to activate, but there's doubtless so much about about this structure that hints ominously at darkness which looms large in the future if we don't act quick enough.
