While the four adventurers can give chase to the drow right now, they wouldn't get that far once they get deep below the surface. The darkness would be overpowering and then there's the terrible radiations that would sicken and weaken them until they were easy prey for the monsters down there. The solution is a set of magically enchanted gems that will enchance their vision underground and protect them from the radiations, but for that they need gems and the group are fresh out.

Luckily for them, there have been a number of trade caravans lost in teh area recently. One of them surely had gems which means all we need to do is find where those gems were taken and retrieve them for ourselves. If that sounds far too simple, that's because it is. They'll surely be guarded and that means we'll have a fight on our hands. Let's just hope it's not our last.
