This is the thirteenth of a series of doing Let's Plays on "classic games." Classic games in this sense are, pretty much whatever I consider a classic, usually old and becoming somewhat obscure but trend-setting games.

In Japan, Dragon Warrior is known as Dragon Quest, and it in fact overshadows Final Fantasy in terms of popularity as a series. This is somewhat the opposite of the USA where Final Fantasy is more popular. This is the first Dragon Warrior game ever released as far as I know for the NES. It is a trendsetting game in that it establishes many of the hallmarks of the (J)RPG genre.

This video features me leveling up and collecting gold and experience from the Grave of Garin level 3 behind the Town of Garinham.
