In this video, we shall see the benefits of marrying to people with powerful holdings and positions of power. It can sometimes be a hindrance to come into possession of new territory so quickly, as with new lands come new problems. We also of course have to try and hold into what new places we get and the further they are from our central power base the more challenging it becomes.

In general the smaller and more compact your territory is, the safer you are from internal strife but the more at risk you are from external threats. Having a large domain means you increasingly become safe from genuine threats from other powers but are more prone to being torn apart from within. I have yet to find the perfect balance that means I am safe from both.
