Let's Play Journey to the Centre of the Earth 26: The Truth Revealed
And so we make the final efforts to finish the game, save everyone and get the ending we... deserve? I'm not sure how I should feel about how the game ended up concluding, but any ending is better then none at all, right?
At least they didn't leave a sequel hook- Oh no...
This is certainly a game that was bought based entirely on the peculiar box art and the even more peculiar blurb and pictures on the back. I wasn't sure what to expect save that it looked like a point and click adventure game. With the game finally behind me, I can say that it was certainly an experience. I'm not sure if it was a good or bad one either. The voice acting can be flat at points, the plot peculiar and some of the puzzles obtuse. On the other hand, the game was based on an idea not often examined in video games and it built on the idea well, giving a solid foundation for the world that Ariane explored. All in all, it's something that I am happy I've experienced but it's not something I would have played unless the amusing box cover had caught my eye.
What's to come? The only clue I will give is that we are going to return to a series we have played some of before.
See you next LP!
