In this episode we meet with Elizabeth Peralez to tell her what we've learned about the strange incident that occurred at her apartment, only to find that she already knew something was afoot. She implores us not to tell her husband Jefferson what we've learned, thinking that he will end up in over his head chasing down the culprit, who Johnny believes may in fact be a rogue AI. In order to protect Jefferson from himself, we lie to him, going along with his wife's cover story that Holt, Jefferson's political rival, and the murderer of the previous mayor, is behind the mysterious plot against the Peralezes. Then we engage in some thievery for Dino, stealing CCTV footage that proves Militech is behind the recent rash of journalist suicides in the Serial Suicide side gig. Then we manage to collect all 20 tarot cards, and Misty foretells our fate as the wandering fool. Finally, we give more money to the insane street prophet, because conspiracy theories are fun.
