In this episode we finish talking to everyone at Elfland and Castle Elf now that we've broken Astos's curse on the prince, and learn two things: peace has returned to Elfland, and there is an Airship buried somewhere in the world. We then sail the Aldi Sea back to Pravoka to finish our level 2 spellbooks, replace the gloves we had to have Willbo drop, and stock up on items for our eventual trip to Melmond. We then head to the infamous Peninsula of Power, where we battle some endgame enemy formations with generous rewards. After a few fights, we again sail the Aldi Sea, this time traveling through the canal the Dwarves created for us after we gave them the TNT, and heading east over the greater ocean to the town of Melmond. Once we arrive there, we learn that the town was attacked by a Vampire, who destroyed the clinic, cursed the town, and then retreated to the depths of the Earth Cave, which lies on a peninsula east of town. We also learn of a Titan who eats gems, and especially loves rubies, but he blocks the passage to the abode of Sarda the Sage, who purportedly does not fear the evils of the Earth Cave. Armed with this knowledge, we head toward the Earth Cave to defeat the Vampire and restore the town of Melmond to prosperity.
