In this episode we begin by reading some shards, the real standout being the An Omelet of Passion fanfic. Then we steal a car from the Valentinos, and in so doing discover a fantastic Oldboy easter egg. After that, we head back to our apartment to check out the Bartmoss website, and give Ozob Bozo, a man with a grenade for a nose, a call, and take a job for him. We drive him to a Tyger Claws hangout where he immediately gets us involved in a shootout, pays us, and leaves. Finally, we continue the Fortunate Son questline, where we pick up a kidney replacement implant from a hospital employee, which quickly devolves into a shootout with the police when it becomes clear we've been set up. After taking mercy on the employee, we learn that the implant has been infected with a virus, which would have been bad news for the recipient. Luckily we are given a shard to reinstall the firmware, virus-free, and we quickly head back to the Badlands to help the nomad in need.
