The Last Giant is not too difficult but can hit very hard. If you are soloing, the easiest method is to stay back and let the giant come running at you. This forces the giant to do a sweeping attack which can be avoided by just rolling forward and between its legs. You can then get some free hits in before backing away and repeating the process (lingering near the legs too long will force it to stomp).

We meet a new npc and get access the locked building in Majula.
