How many times has Rincewind saved the world by now? You'd think they'd at least get him a shiny medal or one of those golden thingamess that the arch chancellor seems to have a lot of on his shelves. A pat on a back and a pint of something that didn't dissolve the tankard and the bar counter would probably go a long way to making him less cynical and jaded.

At least he has potatoes, I guess that's something. Not much but something.

I really enjoy playing Discworld 2. It's got a more distinctive graphic style and a lot more personality. The voice acting and dialogue is of course top notch and while the jumps of logic in some of the puzzles are a little difficult they're nothing compared to the first game; they make a lot of sense if you've read some of the Discworld books and even without that they aren't too hard to figure out. It's a shorter adventure the the first game but I don't think that's a bad thing, it doesn't outstay it's welcome. The only sad thing is that it's not easily available these days, I'll be happy when all the Discworld games are released digitally if that day ever comes. As it stands it's a great point and click adventure game and I love the genre.

We're not entirely done with Discworld 2, there's still one more thing that I need to show but it can wait until next time.

What will come next? Who knows, perhaps another adventure game, perhaps something else. We'll find out next week.

See you next LP!
