We're almost done with World 1, just a couple more things to do. Sorry for the delay...I would have uploaded this yesterday, but I spent pretty much the entire day too tired and too depressed to accomplish much of anything. In any case, since we've collected all of the KONG letters in the regular levels of World 1, we can access its secret level, 1-K: Platform Panic. The K levels are basically a group of their own, not following the difficulty or the theme of the world (which would make 1-K the biggest difficulty spike in the game if you do it immediately after 1-6). They also do not have checkpoints, which I refuse to admit is anything more than artificial difficulty. The boss level (1-B: Mugly's Mound) is naturally MUCH easier, though I have no idea what kind of creature Mugly is supposed to be...some sort of mutant dinosaur? I don't know. In any case, upon beating him, we gain access to the second world of the game, which we will start on next time.
