While we’re coming across progressively more and more puzzles that need solving in the form of finding the right item to swap with people for something else, we can be safe in the knowledge that we aren’t truly trapped here. For all the bars blocking access to the parts of the asylum we were in before, the designers will have taken into account that we could get thrown in here as soon as we outsmart Babbit provided if we choose not to explore anywhere else. This makes me think that getting here is something that you’re intended to do early, especially with the clues we’re being given by some of the people here, not that we needed them.

We still have quite a lot of rooms here to check out and it’s very likely that each one belongs to a particular inmate. Whether all of them will be part of inventory swapping puzzles remains to be seen, but I’m sure Edna won’t say no to some friendly conversation. We’ve had little of that since we began our escape – Harvey has been one of the few people not trying to get us back in our cell – and we may yet get hints for puzzles we’ve not come across yet.
