Let's Play EU4 - Land of Eastern Jade! Lan Xang Ep 63
2Thanks for watching! For this Let’s Play, my goal is to get the Land of The Eastern Jade achievement (new in Art of War!) in Europa Universalis 4, using Lan Xang. This should be relatively easy, so we will continue to make a proper Empire of the Million Elephants!
Lan Xang was a kingdom in Southeast Asia roughly where we consider Laos to be currently. Made up predominately of the Lao people, Lan Xang existed from 1354-1707. The full name, Lan Xang Hom Khao roughly translates to “Million Elephants under the White Parasol”. While a Buddhist nation Lan Xang had significant military might based off of those elephants.
