Let's Play Final Fantasy Tactics (Part 28)
Warning, no progress is made. Time to rage. And what better way to rage than to list all the abilities we are dealing with.
So the undead mages are pretty straightforward. They are harmed by healing and healed by dark element attacks. All the enemies have float as well. The main problem is with the ghosts.
The ghosts have Blade Grasp. This I am fine with. Ethereal creatures that are nearly immune to physical, fine.
The ghosts have ranged magical attacks that are non elemental and have 100% hit chance (mantles may reduce this). Sucks but it is no different to Gafgarion having 100% hit chance with his abilities for some reason.
Now here is where it gets messy. Apparently one of the monsters or mages have Monster Skill. Monster Skill gives all the ghosts a buff they can cast that gives Protect, Shell, Haste, and Innocense. This has a high success rate and Innocense makes the target have 0 Faith. This means they do zero damage with spells and take zero from spells that hit them.
So now we have super fast ghosts with high defenses and are nearly immune to physical and completely immune to magic. Fun stuff!
