0We enter the Witch's castle and fight her pet kitty. A kitty with SPIKES! We also learn our first set of spells from Undine.
The spikey feline is pretty simple. It can roll up into a ball and smash into you or bounce into the air and land elsewhere. Its ball attack can knock you unconcious. It can also grab and bite as well as cast a few fire spells. Hit it till it dies.
Like weapon skills, each element of magic can level up after numerous castings. You can raise your magic level equal to the number of mana seeds you have found. This can get a bit tedious when you pick up new magic and have to level it from level zero to level eight. But doing this is well worth the trouble as it makes all bosses MUCH easier.
