3The second battle in the coal mines are against five Engineers. All of them have Move +3 and Two Sword. Some dual wield swords while others dual wield guns. Along with having Mustadio's moves, they can also break equipment. They are all equiped with robes that give Regen so they are all recovering HP after every action which is touch with their unusually high max HP. They are also immune to all status effects and have innate Maintenance which means no stealing or break abilities this time.
This fight is a mess and is probably the worst of the bunch. The only reason I stood a chance was because the AI goofs up and two of the engineers decided to stay near their starting area and do little else.
The regen forces you to focus on taking them out one at a time. The most important thing is taking out the two hiding in the nearby entranceway. I pinned them in with Agrias and do my best to kill them both before the magic using Engineer fries my entire party and the dual wielding sword Engineer comes to slice me to pieces.
