Chapter 17x: The Port of Badon. Hector and company arrive at Badon to seek passage to the Dread Isle. They discover a band of pirates willing to take them,if they can pass a test first. This stage can still be quite a difficult one to tackle. Fargus's crew won't move until you pass a certain point, which you should take advantage of until you deal with the Black Fang that appears on turn 2. Damian the Paladin is the boss of the Black Fang units. This time he has a Steel Lance and a Steel Sword instead of a Killing Edge. This makes him easier to deal with, but he's still strong and fast. Hector or Oswin should be the ones to take him on. Once him and his goons are dealt with you can focus on the pirates. These guys are no pushovers, most of them carrying powerful weapons including Killer weapons. Took me a while to do this stage without losing anybody. Especially deadly are the Mage and Shaman; they wield the higher level Elfire and Nosferatu tomes respectively. It make take a few times, but eventually you'll be able to bust your way through. make sure to check the local villages for free items, especially the one nearest you to recruit the Shaman Canas. Remember to leave the unit Dart alone,he won't bother you. Make sure to TALK to Fargus, not attack him.
