Gameplay - Part 2 - Scarrid Race

Gameplay: Second and final race to demonstrate playing is Scarrid. Scarrid race has only three classes of selection when starting game as them: Warrior, Abductor and Predator. Warriors are similar to assassins as they start with an agile attack ship with good weapons, a radar and a simple flare launcher, and they gain instant rewards best when attacking human ships, particularly taxi or transporter ships that often carry a large number of victims. Abductors are part-way Pirates and Bounty Hunters as they start with an agile attack ship with good weapons, a scoop for capturing people and a flare launcher for self defence. You can also capture criminals or act as slavemaster or rescue craft if you play as Abductor. Predators are Scarrid versions of Police and Bounty Hunter as they start with a basic array of equipment including a scanner capable of identifying criminals. Machineguns fire lead bullets and come in limited ammunition, so if you run out of ammo while having Machinegun as your primary weapon, you will have to retreat from fight to space station to rearm. Energy weapons like Laser, Plasma, and Ion Cannon have unlimited ammo, but they can overheat, causing them to fire much slower. Stun weapons allow you to disable opposing vessels by homing in on the ship generators, which are the most important part of every ship, for if generator is damaged/destroyed, you won't be able to neither fire, move, use hyperdrive to escape to other point of the map, and you will be pretty much doomed to die. Missiles deal very high damage, and some of them can home in on the ships, but they also come in limited ammo. If a missile is fired at you, red alert will automatically warn you that is going after you, when that happens, you must run away as fast as possible to avoid getting hit. If you are in trouble, you can send distress call by pressing R key and number 1 key to call for help. This is a double-edge tactic, because some ships will come to help you while some ships will come to blast you instead of helping you when you send a distress signal. If your ship is crippled, and you have no active maintenance crew then your only way out is to radio passing ships and nearby bases and ask for repairs. Before starting the game, you can choose between Death Means Death or Undead. Games in which you die in a Death Means Death way means that all saved games for that game will be automatically deleted. Saved games in which you die in a Undead can be loaded even if you die. However, you can only enter the graveyard if you die in a Death Means Death way.
