Full disclosure: the development team of Gaia Beyond reached out to me and gave me a key to try this game out. It's in Early Access right now and they are looking to release in August.

Part 4 of my playthrough of Gaia Beyond. So.. I wasn't actually expecting the main plot line to be finished in this run but.. well here we are. I'm gonna be honest: the end game so far is... pretty rough. There's a difficulty spike that I had to cheese to get through, there's a lot of empty space, and I'm really struggling with the quest logs... and the combat... the fact that the main plot lines don't explore much of the galaxy... the difficulty spikes... okay so like a lot of things with this game.

I really honestly think there's a lot of potential with this game, I do. I find the universe they're building to be legitimately interesting, but there are a lot of rough edges with this game that concern me. I want the game to be well received, but I worry about the level of content when this game leaves early access.
