211While not exactly the most obvious route to get to where we need to be, the canal is probably safer then trying to fight our way up through the entire Black Mesa facility to try and escape out the front door. Obviously if the aliens were going to do anything it would be to congregate in the areas that people would be most likely to travel to, like the main entrance areas and the various routes to get there.
What kind of silly person would try to escape out the front doors anyway?
The first nine videos of this Let's Play were recorded in advance with a slight difference in my volume compared to the audio of the game. The game lacks an individual dialogue volume slider and has no subtitle option. Added onto that is the fact that some of the voice acting in the game is not probably balanced to the rest of the sound in-game, a part of the game rather then anything from the recording process. The tenth video and onwards will have the audio tweaked so that it is a little better.
