Welcome Braves,

This video initiates my let's play for May 2022, Horizon Zero Dawn, and you can find the entire playlist on my YT channel, 'Way of the Dangerlander.'

Please excuse my mic quality and the echo you may here in the first batch of videos. I will be trying some different headset options within the week to clear this up.

This run of HZD is an NG+ Ultra Hard save. By the end of the first 4hr session, I mainly noticed the lack of aim assist. It feels ok so far. I played the game initially back in 2017 and had a decent time with it. I really enjoyed the story they wrote. I found it emotional and inspirational. But I'm a sucker the mythic hero trope. Aloy is iconic to me, great hair and holds a lot of promise for the future. Returning to this on PS5 with a better framerate makes the game so inviting. I really did forget how immersive this adventure was, and even knowing most of what happened, I am already peaked to watch the story unfold.
