We find and punish Flandre for misbehaving. Oh and then she joined the party.

Flandre (Boss):
Time for a flat out of damage race. Depending on how prepared your party is (decent Defense and good Mystic and Fire affinity) will decide how tense this battle is going to be. The more characters you have that can endure Flandre's attacks (even if just for one round), the easier the fight is.

She a number of physical aoes like Flowing Hellfire and such. Her first signature spell is Starbow Break which has incredibly high damage ratios. Even with buffs, do not be surprised that this attack still does damage in the thousands. As you do more damage to Flandre (she does not have alot of health), she will introduce her more powerful aoe attacks. Forbidden Fruit can catch you off guard if you have no Mystic resist and possibly wipe out majority of your front line. Late on, she will begin using Lavaetain which is like Forbidden Fruit but higher ratios and is Fire based. Once more, affinities and good defenses are your friend in this fight. It is possible to debuff and/or paralyze Flandre but its a low chance and wears off quickly due to her very fast speed. Just try to out last the nukes and hit her with everything you got. She is vulnerable to Cold and Spirit (Komachi's scythe does wonders).


Flandre Scarlet:
Vampire and Remilia's Younger Sister
Glass Cannon... period. This Vampire is a glass cannon that cracks from her own insane power. She ok hp, good speed, best atk growth, and ok magic growth. Her defenses are all very low and she has low affinities except for her incredibly high Fire affinity (over 300). Like most fast damage dealers, she is best used to swap in and blast away then swap out before danger arrives. Just becareful of her powers as she cannot control them that well.

Starbow Break is a powerful non elemental physical attack that has the side effect of hurting Flandre everytime she uses it. Thankfully, this will never kill her (will keep her at 1 hp though). This makes the attack not that useful in sweeping random encounters as the damage to herself means a greater loss of TP each fight. Forbidden Fruit is Mystic area composite spell. It has high ratios but has the side effect of reducing everyone's ATB to 50% including her own. Also with Flandre's speed, it is very likely spamming this means no one else will get an action until she dies or runs out of SP. Lavaetain is a powerful version of Forbidden Fruit but is Fire based and reduces everyone's ATB to 0% (cept herself which is down to 20%). Its expensive but good for sweeping if it one shots everything. If her aoes are not good enough to one shot groups of monsters, its best not to use it as it would leave you completely open to counter attacks.

Overall though, she is an awesome boss destroyer and with enough development she can be decent at sweeping. Just keep her out of harms way and watch her TP.
