Though the game gives you a lot of freedom on where to go once you're out of the Twigroot Forest, some paths are a lot easier than others. The party have chosen to head to what is considered to be one of the much harder locations, though this was not done intentionally; Sleet Island let to the ruins of Desarune which led to the archives. They in turn brought us to the sewers and then Stormbreach, all of which were managable. Logic would dictate that the mines will be much the same, no?

Before we can open up access to the majority of this place we'll need to solve some puzzles. We'll also get a sample of the foes to come by doing so, allowing us the opportunity to turn back while we still can. That won't be happening, however.
