Let's Play Legend of Grimrock 2 #54: The Wormbound Catacombs
188The wormbound catacombs are a rather unusual place balance-wise. You can only attain the information on how to get access to the cemetary and the catacombs beneath them within the archives, but the foes within are a mixture of early game and quite challenging ones. Armoured skeletons aren't a problem for us anymore, but the ghouls can hit hard and fast, appearing in large enough groups to put our back line at risk when they surround us.
The first boss, however, is what I'd consider the true yardstick that you should measure when you're meant to come to this location and I think we are significantly overlevelled. The mechanics they employ are mostly things we've seen before and they don't hit hard enough to put a real dent in our front line combatants. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the foes summoned by the boss to aid them are more of a challenge, but I doubt this is the only boss we'll be facing in this dungeon.
