Our hero's journey through time has come to an end, but there's still something special at the Fishing Pond. Venture back to Lake Hylia and enter the Fishing Pond once again. There's a very rare and elusive fish that appears seldomly in the Pond when you enter. The default lure can only do so much as this certain fish likes to lurk at the bottom. You need a Sinking Lure. Explore around certain spots to find a huge worm-like lure that, when cast, sinks to the bottom! The Loach is not very active, but once in a while, he comes up to the surface for air. Only if the lure is at the right spot, when the Loach starts to go up, will he go for it. If you manage to successfully catch it, you get an underwhelming prize of 50 rupees...oh goody. Since the population of this fish has dropped drastically, the owner lets it back, so it unfortunately won't be in the display tank. The only real prize is the satisfaction of catching this very rare and elusive fish.
