Lately I've been receiving some requests from actual developers! This is awesome because in many ways I have been waiting for such things.

Math the Roguelike (or simply MathRL) is a game created by kkairos for a gaming engine called MegaZeux (or simply MZX). It was created for the 2010 7DRL challenge, so obviously I'm more forgiving when it comes to the game's entertainment and functional value. In short, it's a sweet concept (who doesn't love to solve math during video games) but lacks the ever-important refinement of balancing and appropriate use of features. Not that it isn't playable, but it's not something you would play after you beat it.

But I really, really think that the concept alone is enough to make this one a winner. Combined with the smooth UI and simple controls, this could be made into something far greater than it already is, and I imagine it wouldn't be a huge undertaking to do so. If nothing else, other developers can learn from the design choices made here.
