Let's Play Red Rogue (P2-1)
10Looks like these videos are going to be created on the longer side! Next time I will try to parse them up with intro/outros correctly.
So there are some pretty neat little things going on in this game, especially when it comes to combat. It's very...novel? Certainly I haven't seen anything quite like it, at least. I suppose the "problem" at the moment is knowing whether or not I'm actually learning things correctly, or if I get lucky sometimes (i.e., take very little damage) and unlucky other times (i.e., take a lot more damage than expected). What I mean is that there isn't a lot of feedback: mostly this is because it's action oriented and therefore harder to spell out for the player, but I believe that some HUD-embedded stats would smooth out the process considerably.
Today's skeleton is named Greg. He's about as wonky as the last one. (PS, I'll post part two halfway through today: might as well space it out.)
