Exploring the Research Facility of the Pirate Homeworld. Eventually Samus's presence will be detected,and Space Pirates will sound an alarm. If this happens,you'll have to fend off Pirate Commandos,very tough and durable troopers. In the room with Phazon Metroids,repair the circuit board to get the elevator working again. Take the Energy Cell as well while you're at it,and kill the Metroids above. You can find a Missile Expansion here. Keep following the path and you'll eventually find that Galactic Federation Trooper. Turns out it ain't a GF Trooper though,it's Gandrayda! She's under Dark Samus's control as well,and must be put down. Gandrayda is very agile and hard to hit in her normal form,and can try to leech energy from you if she grabs you. She can change into a Berserker Lord,an Aerotrooper,and a bunch of bats. After losing some HP,she'll expose the room to acid rain,and start changing into Rundas or Ghor. At 50% HP she'll start changing into Samus! Keep moving to dodge her Boost Ball and Power Beam attacks. When she's near death she'll start going into Hyper Mode or turning invisible. Use the X-Ray Visor to track her if she does so. Defeating her nets you Grapple Voltage!
