Flint & Fuel return to Tazmily Village and reunite with Lighter who has his fair share of injuries. After it starts to rain, everyone gets some rest at the inn. After a little chat with Isaac, Flint heads home to see if Hinawa and the kids have returned.
Seeing that only a letter had arrived, Flint decides to go looking for them. Fortunately, the whole town decides to help Flint look. And even Boney, the family's lovable and dependable dog, decides to come along. After finding a static secret in town, Flint and Boney head towards Sunshine Forest.
