Part 10 of my let's play for Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice, game #18 in the series.

It's a race to the finish to see if I can get this game all wrapped up before the end of the episode. Unfortunately the sewer puzzle stands in my way and dear God does this one suck. In a first on this channel, I actually mess up so bad that I put myself in an unwinnable situation and have to load an earlier save just to get back to where I started from. What an achievement! I would say I'm surprised but that should be the content you come to expect at this point!

After this harrowing experience Nancy finally locates the stolen goods and has to go on a foot chase after the culprit because, get this, the GDIF has no officers left in the entire city to deal with them because they are too busy keeping the peace at Carnivale. What a fucking load. You're telling me that these idiots aren't willing to divert a few officers to help catch the most wanted person in all of Venice if not Italy at this point!?! It's probably the biggest case of the year but nope, keeping some drunk Italians from getting unruly seems to be more important. Doesn't matter anyway I guess because unlike the sewer puzzle the final one ends in about 10 seconds due to some incredible luck on my part.

Venice and her artifacts are safe once again no thanks to the police force. Jesus I hope these guys aren't paid much...
