Don't try this at home.

Xenia! The Xbox 360 Emulator for Windows! This took me a bit of digging to find a working configuration, the only catch being that running it with DirectX 12 wouldn't work, so I had to force the program to use Vulkan. Hopefully the boys at the Xenia dev team can make Linux builds happen eventually because the Xbox 360 is great and Linux gamers should be able to play these games. They did recently merge a threading branch that was optimized for Linux. However for Linux builds to truly happen, they either need to abandon DirectX 12 and use their Vulkan renderer, or integrate VKD3D with the project. On top of that, they would need to basically reimplement a good chunk of the emulator because if I'm not mistaken, certain Xbox 360 system calls are emulated using Windows syscalls, not unlike Cxbx-Reloaded. As you can see, there's no good option here, but I can dream, can't I?

Other than Linux, Xenia still needs a bit of work, but I am really loving those performance improvements they added a couple weeks ago! Go read about it! These guys rock!

If you have a more powerful machine than mine (like with an actual graphics card heh), you might have better luck with using VKD3D than I did. If it does turn out that VKD3D works, then Xenia on Linux might be just fine in Wine!

The reason why I'm not using MangoHUD here is because MangoHUD causes Xenia to just flat-out crash. XD
