Let’s Play Pikuniku #05: Now with 110% of your RDA of COOL
115This is my first playthrough through this game. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
I’m sure it comes as no surprise to anyone that our random wanderings through the world brought us to another village that’s subject to Mr. Sunshine’s resource harvesting. It should also come as no surprise to you that we’re being oh-so-gently nudged into joining a resistance movement against the smiling pink blob, one that will surely send us hurtling towards the plot like a locomotive on rails. We’ve got a settlement to explore before then, however, one that’s likely full of secrets and side content for us to discover.
The game being as wacky and silly as it is, it’s all-but impossible for me to predict just where a certain plot thread is going to go. I’m sure you can hear in my voice when the absurdity of the game catches me off-guard, all while remaining true to the setting that’s being painted in bright, vibrant colours. That said, the game has far more up its sleeve than I give it credit for and my, are those sleeves full of pure, undiluted silly.
At least now we can look cool while coming to terms with said silly and that’s all that matters, right?
