Now that the Temple of Bane is a temple dedicated to the good deities again, it's safe to rest there before our party returns to Civilized Phlan for its reward. Our spellcasters all earn promotions (although the mages should have looked at their spell scrolls before entering the Training Hall!).
We then cross the harbor again, this time heading for the old Kovel Mansion, reputed to be the headquarters of the local thieves' guild. (Why haven't they recruited Gimli yet?) Individual punk thieves attempt sneaking up on us, and a pair of them lead us a merry chase, ending in an ambush near the S end of the building.
