0Sam makes it back onto the streets and he and Nonna take out a horde of enemies on the bridge up ahead. Afterwards, she gives Sam her minigun (much appreciated) and directions to The Vatican as well as a little something to clear away those walls of tentacles that block the roads. It happens to be The Pope's new and improved Popemobile. We'll find out when we get there. In the meantime, I managed to get an achievement for killing 100 enemies with the mini-nuke. When we reach the new Popemobile, it turns out to be a giant freakin' mech. It must be an early Christmas. We use the mech to fight our way to The Vatican. When we reach The Vatican parking lot, the creature responsible for the tentacles shows up. We have a boss fight against a Megalopolyp then enter The Vatican. Sam remembers some of Father Mikhail's instructions, something about the statue of St. George and a sigil. Sam can't figure out what a sigil is so he uses C4 to do the work. He blows up The Vatican just as Rodriguez and the others arrive. Sam reveals he got the holy text.
