Game: Starship Rubicon
Platform: PC (Windows)

Here's my time piloting the Gunship and Jitterbug.

The Gunship is the largest and most heavily armored ship of this game, as well as the slowest. Starting out with three weapons (two beams and one shotguns) and the shield ability, this can deal and take a heavy beating and still come out standing. Though, its effectiveness is hampered by its below average shielding combined with lower turn speed. I wouldn't mind the lower speed that much had it not been for the below average shield, which means it can really get risky in the final areas of the game, or very busy levels. So, learning how to use the shield ability is crucial for your survival. Overall, a slow powerhouse that I recommend for medium to advanced players.

The Jitterbug is the polar opposite. It has the lowest profile and fastest speed of any of the playable ships. It comes with a hefty price though, the lowest armor of any ship (base is 6!) and least amount of upgrade real estate. This means two things: one hard blow can easily end your run, and you can install very few upgrades. It does have slightly below average shielding, so it isn't too unforgiving. The two revolvers it starts up make shot work of most non-elite hostiles. Though, you must always be on the move to survive. Overall, a risky yet very fun ship I recommend for advanced players.

Enjoy! Remember to rate and leave comments. Your feedback is appreciated!
