Let's Play Starward Rogue - #05: Indigo Dipole
3In this part, I take the Indigo Dipole mech out for a spin.
It has almost the same stats as the White Glass. The two main stat differences are that the Indigo has slightly more missile capacity, and lower max health. The main gimmick of this mech is it's focus on magnetism. It's secondary weapon is a repulsive hornet mine that repels projectiles and eventually explodes releasing shrapnel (which can himself the mech itself). It's missile launcher can strongly attract enemy bullets toward it. Just be careful not to trap yourself when the bullets come flying in.
Personally, I didn't find this mech's magnetism gimmick to be all that useful. I felt at best, it was slightly useful. But on average, it was ineffective or outright dangerous to my well-being. I may try this mech out in the future, though by playing more cautiously.
