One day Mario receives an invitation from Princess Toadstool AKA Peach to come to her castle for some cake. Inside though, Peach is nowhere to be seen. All Mario hears is Bowser's ominous voice telling him to go away. Upon investigating the multiple doors in the castle's foyer, only one can be opened. Inside is a painting leading to Bob-omb Battlefield, where pink and black Bob-ombs are at war under the watchful eye of King Bob-omb on the summit of the mountain. Challenge him to a duel and if you emerge victorious, you'll be rewarded the very first Power star for the castle! However, its far too early to celebrate. There's still a lot more Power stars to find. Will Mario recover the power stars throughout the castle's paintings and save the princess from Bowser's claws?
