Let's Play The Banner Saga [Part 5] - Attack at Skogr

Rook an Alette have made it to town. That's good. Except the town itself is under attack. That's bad. But we're joined by a badass Varl called Iver. That's good. But also some snot-nosed kid called Egil. Which is fine actually, because he turns out to be a hell of a tank.

In this episode, we learn that The Banner Saga is not an easy game, and your characters will die if you are careless. Luckily, the deaths don't actually result in, well, death. If they die, they just get injured, which makes them less effective in future combat encounters, which is fair enough because otherwise I'd have already lost the game. So that's for that Stoic, you guy's are alright.

Speaking of guys, I will eventually learn that characters' names, but until then I will constantly refer to everyone as "that guy", including the women. If that makes you angry, then just allow the pleasing animations to soothe away your anger, because The Banner Saga is a beautiful game.
