Let's Play The Banner Saga [Part 8] - Village

In this episode of Let's Play The Banner Saga, we're at camp! We talk to Egil and tell him not to mess around with Alette. Then we learn that he is basically a Nordic Batman. We then upgrade out characters a little (Alette surely needs it), and even buy a cool ass fishing hook that gives us armor penetration. Not sure how that works, but this is The Banner Saga, not real life. And as we all know, gameplay doesn't have to be realistic to be fun.

When leaving the village from which we bought the world hook, a set of twins called Hogun and Mogun or Mogun and Hogun or something like that come up and ask to join us. But the other villagers say no. So we fight. More combat! Yay! Luckily for us, Alette is off somewhere being useless, so we get to use Mogun and Hogun to round off our party (and hit the party character limit).

During the course of battle, Gil once again proves to be a god damn badass. Although our enemies are village peasants, so I guess it's not that impressive, but still. I mean, Mogun and Hogun make anyone look good by comparison.
