One by one the mysteries start getting answers, none of them we're going to like. Suffice to say we find out where all the missing students and urchins have gone, with a suicide note pointing straight at the Alchemy department. The professor turns out to be a few cards short of a full deck, and is eager to add our name to the missing persons list, with a little help from a visitor from very far away. Yet a little ingenuity sees us escape the ritual sacrifice, and we even end up with a helping hand at the end of it. You take the help wherever you can find it, I guess.

Sadly, the madness goes deeper than any one man, so deeper we must go. Somewhere, in the ancient tunnels beneath campus, lies the creature at the heart of all this. Whatever it is, it's not of this world - and it has big plans.
